John Lennon’s Son Sean Thinks Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker Appears Like His Father

John Lennon‘s son Sean thinks Tame Impala’s frontman Kevin Parker seems like his father. He’s not the only just one. When John was in The Beatles, he made some of the most famed psychedelic tunes of the 1960s. It is really hard not to listen to John’s voice when Parker sings. The Washington Submit picked up on it while examining a Tame Impala gig in 2013.

“Led by Parker — who is the group’s frontman, guitarist, producer and principal songwriter — Tame Impala performs gauzy psychedelic pop that’s heavily indebted to the black-lit appears of the ’60s and ’70s,” they wrote. “It’s the vocals, largely, that spur the Fab 4 comparisons.

“Whether Parker’s hitting a substantial take note, wheezing, growling or harmonizing with himself, he is a useless ringer for John Lennon.”

Tame Impala’s audio sounds like a thing John would have built if he was an artist in the 21st century. Parker combines rock tunes with digital dance new music and swirls it to make it seem futuristically psychedelic. Or, as the Washington Put up writes, “Parker strives to splice classic tones and present day technological innovation.”

So, it was not challenging for John’s son Sean to listen to his father in Parker’s new music.
