Fleetwood Mac experienced a number of affairs within the band and with other musicians
Romantic relationship drama plagued Fleetwood Mac for decades, primarily when the band was in its heyday.
Arguably the group’s most well known couple was Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. They joined the band as a team and aided launch Fleetwood Mac to new heights of results with the group’s 1975 self-titled album and 1977’s Rumours. Quite a few of the songs from that era have been about Buckingham and Nicks’ partnership and bitter breakup.
Right before the couple joined the band, drummer Mick Fleetwood’s wife, Jenny Boyd, had an affair with guide guitarist Bob Weston. Fleetwood was heartbroken about the infidelity, main to Weston’s exit from the group.
Soon after Nicks and Buckingham broke up, the singer experienced an affair with Fleetwood. Nicks was dating the Eagles’ Don Henley at the time, even though the drummer was performing points out with Boyd.

Nicks also reported she would in no way crack up the band. “I threaten to give up all the time. I threaten to stop as soon as a thirty day period. But I’m never gonna be the one to crack up Fleetwood Mac,” she said. “Somebody else will crack it up, not me. And it is tricky for me to consider Fleetwood Mac ever breaking up. It is form of like, you know, it’s just an entity that just appears to go on and on and on. I determine Fleetwood Mac will go on right until it does not want to go on anymore.”
