Guns N’ Roses included The Rolling Stones‘ “Sympathy for the Devil” for the movie Job interview with the Vampire. Notably, Slash had strong emotions about Anne Rice, the creator of the guide Job interview with the Vampire. After seeing the film, he did not want his songs to be in it.

According to the 2009 reserve Slash, musician Tom Zutaut arrive up with the idea that Guns N’ Roses should cover “Sympathy for the Devil” for the movie Job interview with the Vampire. Slash was delighted with this proposal. “Anyway, I was up for the strategy of undertaking this go over for the reason that I was incredibly acquainted with the Anne Rice books I imagined they have been wonderful, which is why I had a tricky time imagining Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise participating in all those roles,” Slash wrote. 

“Anyway, Axl and I went to screenings of the film separately, and entirely disagreed on what we noticed,” Slash exposed. “I hated it I considered it was crap.”

Subsequently, Slash claimed he talked to Cruise more than the mobile phone. Slash informed Cruise the film was horrible. Then he explained the producers should use The Rolling Stones’ variation of the music as a substitute.

Rose experienced a various response to the film. “Axl, on the other hand, cherished the motion picture he considered it was fantastic and he needed to do the tune,” he claimed. “I could not have been more let down, pissed, annoyed, and puzzled. The only upside I observed to signing off on it was that it would carry out what we’d been unable to do to any diploma in the past 7 months: it would actually get all of us into the studio.”
