Campbell crime report for the week of Oct. 23

Oct. 4

1600 block of South Bascom Avenue: A 2007 white Ford Econoline van was stolen.

Oct. 5

9:35 a.m. in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue: An unknown suspect wrote graffiti in the men’s bathroom.

10:42 a.m. in the 300 block of West Sunnyoaks Avenue: A man, 26, was reportedly living out of his car. He was contacted and found to be in possession of methamphetamine, paraphernalia and cocaine.

11:25 a.m. in the 00 block of West Campbell Avenue: A man, 32, was roaming on the property. He was found to be under the influence of a stimulant and was in possession of methamphetamine.

Overnight in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: An unknown suspect smashed a window to the car and rummaged through it.

5 p.m. in the 500 block of West Rincon Avenue: A man, 39, was stopped at a park due to his probation conditions. He was found in possession of methamphetamine, paraphernalia and fixed blade knife.

800 block of Sobrato Drive: A woman, 31, claimed that a man, 47, grabbed her around the neck during an argument. The man denied the allegation.

11:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Watson Drive: A man, 45, threw water mixed with plant fertilizer and manure on a woman, 22, when she was sitting on her balcony. The man admitted to the battery, saying he was upset about an ongoing neighbor dispute.

1:40 a.m. at Castlemont and Driftwood: Officers attempted to stop a man, 25, at Hamilton and Winchester, but he fled on his bicycle. Officers followed him to the area of Castlemont and Driftwood, where he was apprehended without further incident. The suspect was in possession of a meth pipe and under the influence of meth.

Oct. 6

9:37 p.m. in the 300 block of Orchard City Drive: A man, 47, collided with a security vehicle in a parking lot and displayed symptoms of intoxication. He was found to be DUI.

9:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue: Two suspects entered a store, stole property and fled in a dark-colored BMW.

1 p.m. in the 100 block of North First Street: A woman reported that an unknown suspect stole the contents of a package delivered to her porch.

Oct. 7

Overnight in the 300 block of Budd Avenue: Someone forced entry into a shed and stole miscellaneous tools.

Overnight in the 00 block of South Milton Drive: Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole items.

1:49 p.m. in the 400 block of Industrial Street: A man, 37, was contacted and found to be in possession of a billy club and in violation of his probation.

5 p.m. in the 400 block of E Hamilton Avenue: Someone concealed multiple power tools and fled in a black Toyota Sienna minivan.

5:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A woman, 72, received a call saying she had a warrant out of Texas. The victim gave the caller a gift card over the phone.

2113 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 40, was causing a disturbance. He was found to be under the …read more
