FREMONT — One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 880 early Saturday, authorities said.
California Highway Patrol was called to I-880 southbound near the Stevenson Boulevard onramp at around 3:05 a.m. for a report of a solo vehicle crash, the central office confirmed.
One person driving a Mazda was killed in the incident; no other injuries were reported.
Further details about the circumstances of the crash and the victim’s were not immediately available Saturday morning.
All lanes of the highway had reopened by about 5 a.m.
