Giant dance music festival set to rock the Bay Area in September

Is the Bay Area ready to dance once more?

Porter Robinson, the acclaimed electronic dance music (EDM) artist, is betting on it since he’s hosting the second installment of his Second Sky Festival on September 18-19 at Cesar E. Chavez Park in Berkeley.

And the lineup for the festival has just been announced.

Besides getting to witness Robinson headline the event, festival-goers will also get to watch such acts as Jai Wolf, Toro Y Moi, Wavedash, Jacob Collier, Knower, Jyocho, Jon Hopkins and Madeon.

Robinson is supporting the new release “Nurture,” the EDM giant’s first full length in seven years, featuring the singles “Musician,” “Look At The Sky,” Mirror,” “Get Your Wish” and “Something Comforting.”

Ticket presale starts at 10 a.m. May 5. Register in advance for the presale at Must be 18 or older to attend. No other ticketing information — such as prices or when the general public on sale begins — was available.
