Gilroy: Two men injured in shooting

GILROY – Two men were injured in a shooting late Sunday in Gilroy, authorities said.

The shooting was reported about 11:50 p.m. near 8th and Hanna streets, the Gilroy Police Department said in a news release. Officers found evidence of a shooting but no victims.

A short time later, two men arrived at an emergency room with gunshot wounds, police said. One had life-threatening injuries and was taken to a trauma center. The other was expected to recover.
