Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals rules that up to 70,000 truck drivers can be classified as employees, with rights to overtime, sick pay and work expenses, rather than contractors.










Passenger volume at the Bay Area’s largest airport is still 60% below pre-pandemic levels, the slowest recovery of any major U.S. airport, with San Jose down 53% and Oakland off 28%.
