A 73-year-old man died Saturday morning in a crash along Interstate Highway 580 near Tracy, the California Highway Patrol said.
The man was driving a Toyota pickup westbound on I-580 about 10:40 a.m. when the vehicle made an unsafe turn and overturned near State Route 132, the CHP said.
The driver, the only person in the truck, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. He died at the scene. The man’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin. He was a resident of Ceres in Stanislaus County, the CHP said.
