
SANTA CLARA – Authorities were investigating a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Santa Clara.
Around 2:30 p.m., the Santa Clara Police Department issued an advisory about “police activity” near Agate Drive and Lawrence Expressway and asked people to avoid the area.
The police department later confirmed multiple shots had been fired on the 3400 block of Agate Drive, near Monticello Way. Officers searched the area but did not find any victims.
No other information was immediately available.
