Making an ‘Admission’

EnActe Arts’ New Play Festival continues online with “Admission” by Anuvab Pal July 23-25. The comedy follows the Zoom reunion of four college friends over Zoom post-lockdown and how they try to find common ground after 20 years.

Conserving water at home

Bay Area Older Adults is hosting an online program Aug. 5 on “Conserving Water Inside Your Home.”

Participants will learn a holistic water conservation approach that focuses on reducing their overall water footprint, including the impact of daily food intake and products used. Program partner Valley Water will provide a water calculator to make participants more aware of the impact that their daily choices have on water conservation. Water-efficient products will also be discussed.

Urban forestry webinar

The Santa Clara Valley Urban Forestry Alliance, a new countywide collaborative initiative that aims to facilitate collaboration and communication regarding urban forestry management, is hosting an Aug. 5 webinar for those interested in learning more about the alliance.

Participants will learn about urban forestry policy and data management approaches across different municipalities throughout the country, and hear from field experts and industry professionals on urban forestry approaches in Santa Clara County.

The webinar is set for 9:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. A second webinar is set for Sept. 9. Register at Eventbrite.com.
