STOCKTON – Three teenagers allegedly broke a window to get into a south Stockton home early Sunday morning while the resident was sleeping, assaulted the man and stole several electronics. Officers responded, located the teens and arrested them on suspicion of home invasion charges, police reported.
After being reportassaulted in his home in the 1500 block of East 11th Street – just east of South Airport Way – the 32-year-old victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified non-life-threatening injuries. His condition was not reported by police.
Officers responding to the scene about 1:15 a.m. observed the suspects, later determined to be three 17-year-old boys, fleeing from the home. They conducted a block search and located the boys along with recovering the victim’s property.
The three boys were arrested on suspicion of robbery (home invasion) and resisting, according to police. They have not been identified because they are juveniles.
