Letter: One way to make a difference on climate change crisis

Way to make a difference
on climate change crisis

Re: “Let’s not blame PG&E for climate change catastrophe” (Letter to the editor, Oct. 28):

Cliff Gold cleverly reframes climate “denial” as the beginning of our journey through the five stages of grief and loss. I found his letter to be a clear-headed look at the sobering reality of the “climate change catastrophe” and especially appreciate that he closed with “Focus on solutions. This is just the beginning.”

Focusing on durable, large-scale solutions is what Citizens’ Climate Lobby is all about. Check out CCL if you are looking for a way to make a difference. Help us advocate for passage of HR 763, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. It will reduce America’s emissions by at least 40% in the first 12 years. The carbon dividend puts money directly into people’s pockets every month to spend as they see fit, helping low- and middle-income Americans.
