Letter: We secure our homes, why not our border?

We secure our homes,
why not our border?

Just as we have locks on our own doors, stores, government buildings and sports arenas, our borders need to be secure.

We already allow over a million immigrants per year to come in legally, more than any other country.

There are billions of poor people on the planet. We can’t and shouldn’t put all of them on our taxpayers’ welfare.

Our politicians have all taken the oath to protect our Constitution and country. To not enforce our borders is indeed a violation of that oath.
