Fall in Colorado is a special time of year, and now that peak leaf-peeping season has come to an end, folks can turn their attention to getting back onto golf courses around the Denver metro area.
As we look to the end of this week, there isn’t much going on in the sports world locally. The Rockies are not in the postseason as their American Legion style 60-game season ended with a predictable 26-34 record. The Colorado Rapids are off, dealing with a coronavirus outbreak. The Avalanche and Nuggets are both in their offseasons due to the rescheduled NHL and NBA seasons. The Broncos are a bad football team at 1-3, one game above the Super Chargers in the AFC West.
So, with limited options in the sports world I suggest your hold onto that last bit of fall and enjoy a round of golf, followed by post-round drinks and apps on the patio at your local club.
Weather forecast for the weekend is ideal for fall golf with Friday and Saturday expected to reach the 70s, then Sunday being a high of 69 degrees. Enjoy Colorado for what it has to offer, grab your sticks and go play your favorite track before the snow flies.
