Live updates: Warriors vs. Bulls, Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Join us for live news and analysis Friday at 7:30 p.m. as the Warriors hope to take care of another Eastern Conference opponent this week when the Bulls come to Oracle.

The Warriors (27-14), who routed the Knicks 122-95 Tuesday night behind Klay Thompson’s 43-point night, are looking to duplicate their one-sided victory over the Bulls in October. Back then, Thompson set a new NBA record with 14 3-pointers as he poured in 52 points on 18-of-29 shooting in just 27 minutes.

Thompson’s shooting display on Tuesday was also noteworthy in that he took just four dribbles while making his 18 baskets against New York.

The struggling Bulls (10-31) have lost five straight are clearly in rebuilding mode as they’ve gotten rid of ex-Warrior Justin Holiday as well as point guard Cameron Payne recently.

Chicago, however, played well on Wednesday night before falling 124-112 in Portland as center Wendell Carter Jr. scored a team-high 22 points.

The Warriors are in their second-to-last game before the unveiling of All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins, who is scheduled to play at Los Angeles on Jan. 18 against the Clippers.

First, though, the Warriors will host rookie sensation Luke Doncic and the Mavericks on Sunday.
