SALT LAKE CITY — After an unproductive night, Taysom Hill redeemed himself, scoring the game-tying touchdown with less than a minute remaining in the Monday Night Football game between the New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Chargers.
Prior to the touchdown that tied the game at 27 in the fourth quarter, Hill had one carry for just 1 yard and was 0-for-1 passing.
Saints head coach Sean Payton trusted Hill on a key 3rd-and-4, taking quarterback Drew Brees off the field and inserting Hill at quarterback. Hill faked the handoff to running back Alvin Kamara, then kept it, rushing to his right and past two Chargers defenders for the score.
Taysom Hill takes it himself! The #Saints tie it with 52 seconds remaining!
