Twitter Reaction: Red Sox survive Yankees’ late rally to win ALDS

There really is nothing like October baseball. And Game 4 between the Red Sox and Yankees was as good as it gets.

Up 4-1 in the bottom of the ninth, Craig Kimbrel needed only three outs to secure the series win for the Red Sox. The Yankees scored twice and came so close to winning it all, but a spectacular play by former Toronto Blue Jay Steve Pearce at first base ended the game, and the Yankees’ season.

After a review confirmed the Red Sox win, Twitter celebrated. Here are some of the best reactions.

Remember any other postseason saves that included 2 walks, a hit and a hit batter? Of course you don’t – because that wild save by Kimbrel was the first one ever!
